This is a creative and fun class that teaches children a little bit about the Peruvian culture and to be open to new tastes. Kids are very traditional, they like what they know and are not really adventurous when it comes to food. Cooking opens them to new tastes not only chocolate chip cookies; rather, “gourmet” foods geared to their ability level. To many kids surprise, they discovered that one of their favorite foods-french fries- comes from Peru! The potatoes!
